Degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Malaga in 2002; MSc in Translating and Conference Interpreting at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh (United Kingdom) in 2005; and PhD in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Malaga in 2013 with the PhD dissertation Teaching Conference Interpreting: An Empirical Study with a Corpus Methodology. He currently lectures at the University of Malaga in the Degree of Translation and Interpreting as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Translation and Interpreting. He combines lecturing with his work as an interpreter. His research areas are focused on the application of new technologies to the preparation process of conference interpreting assignments and on interpreting training.
