Doctorate in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Malaga (2025), Cum Laude and International Mention. Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting from the same university and Master's degree in Translation for the Publishing World from the University of Malaga. Sworn interpreter of English since 1999. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Translation and Interpreting in the Translation and Interpreting Degree Programme at the University of Malaga, a position she has held since 2019. She has also taught Arabic at the Abdulaziz Al Babtayn Chair at the University of Malaga and at the General Foundation of the University of Malaga (FGUMA), complementing her teaching activities with a scholarship at the University of Alexandria (Egypt), where she furthered her knowledge of language teaching and practice and intercultural mediation. His academic training has been reinforced by international university stays at the University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom) and the University of Heidelberg (Germany), which contributed significantly to broadening his academic and professional perspective, as well as his knowledge of different methodological approaches in the field of translation and interpreting. These international experiences consolidated her linguistic competence in specialised academic contexts and fostered the development of analytical, research and collaborative skills in multicultural environments. She combines her teaching and research work with intense professional activity in the field of sworn translation and interpreting, and worked as a translator-interpreter for the Consulate of Saudi Arabia between 1996 and 2018. Her main lines of research focus on consecutive interpreting, sworn and economic translation and interpreting, medical translation, and technologies applied to translation and interpreting.
