Míriam Pérez-Carrasco holds a BA in Translation and Interpreting, as well as a MA in Secondary Education Teaching, a MA in English Studies and Multilingual and Intercultural Communication and a PhD in Linguistics, Literature and Translation (summa cum laude) from the University of Malaga (Spain). She is currently an Assistant Lecturer (with tenure) at the University of Cordova. She has also received research funding (FPU fellowship, Spanish Ministry for Education, Science and Sport) and has undertaken teaching and research stays at several universities (Malaga, Verona, Bari Aldo Moro, Oxford Brookes). She has participated in various European and national projects, educational innovation projects and teaching networks related to her research areas: specialised translation, corpus linguistics and the application of new technologies to the practice and teaching of translation and interpreting.
