Noelia Calvente holds a BA in English Studies (2023) and a MA in Translation and Interculturality (2024) from the University of Seville, alongside a MA in Video Game Translation and Localization (2025) from the Higher Institute of Linguistic Studies and Translation (ISTRAD). She is currently a Predoctoral Research Fellow under an FPI grant (ref. PRE2024-003376) awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, based in the Department of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Málaga. Her research is conducted within the LEXYTRAD research group and contributes to projects including DIGAME, DIFARMA, and PROMOTUR. Her core research interests lie in corpus linguistics, natural language processing (NLP), and AI-driven translation workflow optimization, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between large language models (LLMs), creativity, and cultural appropriateness.
