Concepción Mira Rueda is Associate Professor in the Department of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Málaga. She earned her first BA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Málaga in 2005 (Spanish as A language, English as B language or first foreign language and, German and Italian as C languages or second foreign languages) and her second one in 2011 (French as B language or first foreign language). She received her PhD in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Málaga in 2008 (with High Honours). In 2009, she graduated from Euroeditions (European Foundation for Information Society and e-Government). From 2010 she works at the University of Málaga, but she has also worked/still works in several private and online Spanish universities: Universidad Isabel I de Castilla, Escuela Superior de Turismo Costa del Sol and Universidad Internacional de la Rioja. She is also part of the editorial board of the E-Journal on the Didactics of Translation and Interpreting (Redit). She has participated in several congresses, written some book chapters and books; and published many papers, glossaries and reviews in renowned national and international journals.
