The students of the first Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree at UMA, the European Master´s Technology for Translation and Interpreting (EMTTI), meet the teaching and coordination team at a Welcome Day.

On 10th october 2019 took place the Welcome day of the European Master´s Technology for Translation and Interpreting (EMTTI). During the event, led by the Coordinator of the Master in UMA, Dr. Prof. Gloria Corpas Pastor, Professor of Translation and Interpretation, the students were provided with information related to, on the one hand, the academic calendar and the subjects that will be taught during the academic year 2019-2020 and, on the other hand, the university campus, the facilities and the academic and cultural opportunities offered by UMA.
The students who were already in Malaga, the EMTTI teaching team, the dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Mr. Juan Antonio Perles Rochel, and Ms. María Vera Duran, representative of the Office of International Relations at UMA, participated in the EMTTI Welcome Day.
The Master is coordinated by the University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom) in colaboration with the University of Malaga and New Bulgarian University, Bulgaria, and aims to train specialists in the use and evolution of technology leading for translation and interpretation. The next academic year, the students, who this year are in UMA will complete their studies in one of the other two universities of the consortium.
